Assessment Extensions
All assessment items are expected to be submitted by the specified due date to avoid academic penalty or automatic failure. Limited extensions of time without academic penalty to submit or present assessment for a Law subject may be considered by a Subject Coordinator for students who may experience illness or unexpected circumstances beyond their control. Extenions may be granted for NO more than one (1) week.
Formal applications must be made using the Request for Extension Form, and submitted BEFORE the due date of the assessment item directly to the Faculty of Law Reception counter (B.5.3.32) or by fax (02) 9514 3400. Do NOT lodge your application with the Student Centre.
Students whose studies are affected by serious illness or extenuating hardship, and require long-term extensions should submit an Application for Special Consideration.
