ELSA Moot Court on WTO Law
This moot is on the law of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), which has its own dispute settlement system.
Judges in the moot act as panelists on a WTO Dispute Settlement Panel established by the Dispute Settlement Body, which is constituted under the Dispute Settlement Understanding, one of the formal agreements that come under the WTO Agreement.
The European Law Students' Association (ELSA) organises the annual WTO Moot Court competition, commencing with national oral rounds in Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific, as well as an international written round. The winners in Latin America and Europe join the best six European teams and nine teams chosen on the strength of their written submissions to compete in the Final Oral Rounds, held at the WTO Centre, Geneva in April.
A team of up to 4 students will be selected to represent UTS.
