Academic Profile

Since joining the Faculty in 2002, Weng Siow has taught in a number of corporate and discrimination law areas. He has also been Academic Liaison Officer for students within the Faculty and has served on the Faculty's Appeals Committee.

Weng is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

Current Research Activities 

Research on causation and quantum of damages in securities fraud cases and the importation of fraud-on-the-market theory into Australin corporate laws.

Research on technological change and stadards setting.

Reasearch on rationality in laws and economics.
