Academic Profile

Peter Underwood joined the Facuty in 1996. He had previously worked as a solicitor in a large City firm and had taught at the College of Law. Peter also helped prepare a new course for the City University of Hong Kong and at UTS, has focused on teaching Remedies.

Peter has served on various Law Society Committees (Conveyancing Practice, Conveyancing Review and Property Law Review) as well as contributing to Law Society sale of land, strata title and leasing standard forms.

Current Research Activities

Preparing a text on the subject of Restitution Law in Australia examining 'gain-based' remedies in Australia, including the issues of unjust enrichment and unconscionable gain.
