Academic Profile
Maxine Evers has taught in the Faculty's Practical Legal Training (PLT) program since 1999- initially as a part-time tutor and since 2004 as a full-time staff member.
Maxine was a solicitor in a large suburban firm for 10 years where she practiced in litigation, conveyancing and small business transactions, and wills and estates. She has also worked for a short time as a legal officer in the Attorney-General's Department.
Maxine has a continuing research interest in legal costs and dispute resolution within the profession. She is currently a member of the NSW Law Society's Costs Working Group. Maxine is also academic member of the NSW Bar Associations' Professional Conduct Committee
