Introduction
UTS:LAW offers an extensive range of programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels that produce graduates who enjoy high levels of employment in both Australia and overseas. According to the most recent UTS Graduate Destination Survey, an average of 90% of undergraduate and 92% of postgraduate law graduates were working full-time. The Faculty's student population consists of approximately 2,500 students currently studying law at UTS, including 300 international students from 30 countries around the world.
UTS:LAW has a reputation for high quality industry relevant educational programs. Our courses are taught by internationally qualified academic staff and senior level industry based members of the legal profession who ensure students gain practical, work-ready skills as well as theoretical and professional training. The Faculty offers students a wide flexibility of choice with around 200 subjects, full-time or part-time attendance patterns with the choice of day, evening or weekend classes, summer sessions to fast-track your course and the opportunity to undertake subjects at international universities through exchange programs. We also offer a range of cross-disciplinary law subjects for students in the Faculties of Business; Engineering; Nursing, Midwifery and Health; and Science.
We are based in a central location, easily accessible by public transport and close to the vibrant lifestyle of Darling Harbour, Chinatown and Sydney's CBD. Our facilities are state-of-the-art, including wireless technology, multimedia lecture theatres, a purpose-built moot court, trial courts, computer labs, private research rooms, law library and study spaces.
